I fell in love instantly when they debuted the Crooked River at SHOT. It reminds me of the tried and tested most popular folding hunting knife of all time, the Buck 110. It reminds me of the shape of clip point, and the heft.
That’s were the resemblance ends. The Crooked River is made of the better quality materials not around back then. I chose the Dynawood. I think the wood and an aluminum bolsters, accented with an orange pivot takes this knife to another level. The only drawback is the knife has a tip up or tip or down carry pocket clip. This knife doesn’t need a clip, it needs a sheath. At 5.33″ long and 5.41″ it needs a sheath or a better option, shrink it down a little.
I picked up mine at DLT Low prices and fast shipping.
